New York Rangers fans loved the grit and determination with which Nick Fotiu played hockey. Even better- he was a hometown boy who was born and raised in Staten Island and attended Rangers games at Madison Square Garden long before he ever skated onto the ice there as a professional. Fotiu spent eight years as a left winger for the Blue Shirts- spanning from 1976 to 1979 and from 1980 to 1985- and he retired in 1990. Nick Fotiu has hand signed this 8×10 photograph of him skating on the ice without a helmet near the goal during a home game at Madison Square Garden- in January of 1982. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
